Finally some heavy metal to test the new camera...

Having been teased by a few high USAF Eagles in the morning a few RAF airframes came out to play in the Autumn sunshine. It was the first real test for my new Canon EOS 5D SR. This is Canon's latest 50 million pixel digital camera. My original concerns about the frames per second rate and it's use for shooting low level aircraft weren't even an issue. The ability to crop in to the shot is nothing short of spectacular. I can't wait for more winter sunshine to entice me back out to this hills.
